Tom and Sophie’s big day was a pastel bohemian dream, full of bursts of colourful pampas grass, pizza and great live music. With the couple both having ties to the wedding industry, Tom renting marquees and Sophie, an event stylist, they created a relaxed wedding day for themselves and their families to enjoy and remember.

The day started at Newcastle’s Secret Tower, a venue that is both elegant and minimalist and allows couples to truly put their own stamp on the space. Tom and Sophie opted for white roses and eucalyptus to decorate the aisle and a stunning pampas grass centrepiece for the front of the room. Friends and family arrived at the venue and enjoyed drinks in the garden, before heading up to the ceremony room. Sophie arrived at the venue with her father and bridesmaids.

At the reception venue, Anarchy Brew Co., the reception space was set up with a children’s corner, a bouncy castle and a projector and vintage video games for children and adults to enjoy. This was Anarchy Brew Co.’s first wedding reception and the space, which showcases the brewing kegs through giant glass windows, was perfect for a bohemian meets urban reception. The venue was decorated with stunning pastel pampas grass centrepieces and candles for the perfect modern bohemian feel.

For Tom and Sophie’s couple portraits we got some elegant relaxed shots in the Secret Tower’s ceremony room and then in the alley in front of the brewery.  A stunning contrast was achieved in the photos of Tom in his light blue suit against a red brick wall.

It was such a joy to be Tom and Sophie's wedding photographer! They planned a relaxed and fun day full of stylish details! Of course, many lovely vendors made this day possible:
